I had told that I would be posting this post by Monday, but due to some work, I was unable to do it. So I’m posting it today, and here we go!

Millay’s Questions:

🌸What has been your proudest moment?

I have many ups and downs in life, but I’m picking one from college. I had a small wish to be a Radio RJ back then. So when one of my teachers asked our class to present a topic in a podcast or radio form, I got the chance to host a small show. It was hardly 5 minutes, but it was satisfying to be the host even for 5 minutes. When I look back to that day, I become so happy, not only for hosting the show but our group did a great job that day. It helped me scratch one thing off my bucket list.

🌸What has been your lowest point? (If you do not wish to share this, that is perfectly fine.)

When I had to lose my dream in 2014. It was a very difficult time for me because I didn’t know what to do next. I ghosted everyone and changed completely, but then that year, I learned a lot personally. I took that as a lesson and kept myself going.

🌸 Thanksgiving isn’t the only day you should be grateful. Name 3 (or more) things that you have been/are thankful for in 2020.

•  This year wasn’t what I had in my mind when I started 2020. This year feels like being in a nightmare. I had lost 3 of my relatives, and it was hard to digest their deaths. So the first thing I’m grateful for in 2020 would be for being alive and healthy.
• I’m always grateful to God, EXO, and to all the people who stood by me whenever I was down or doubted myself. So thanks a lot for being there for me!
• I’m also grateful for this blogging community and my readers. I have so many new books on my TBR because of them, and it’s always great to interact with my fellow bloggers and read their posts.

🌸 What character are you from your favorite book/movie?

This is a tough one because I don’t think I can choose one particular character from my favorite book/ movie. After lot of thinking, I guess I would like to be Dobby from Harry Potter. I grew up watching Harry Potter, and I still love reading the series. Till the end, Dobby helped Harry and played a crucial role in the books. Dobby was also a very loyal and sweet character. I share some personality traits with him, so yeah, I would be Dobby. 

🌸 Why did you start your blog?

I’m a very private person. I never like to be on social media, and I’m still like that. Until 2016 I was a muggle to every platform on social media. So after college, I had plans to do something for myself- to have a something of my own, created by me, and to rave about books.
I didn’t have plans to start this blog until 2019. Then last year, I thought to myself, “Well, why don’t I start a blog exclusively for books?” and Viola!
I actually tried to blog in March but had to redesign and customize everything from scratch, so I took my time with all the behind-the-scenes work.
So yeah, I started this blog to share my love for reading and writing. I have been a nerd since my childhood, and I didn’t have time to start a blog back then. Now I finally made it happen, and I’m proud of myself for coming so far. This blog is a part of me, and I’m happy to share a part of me with this world.

🌸 What has been something you’ve learned from blogging that you’d like to share?

This blogging community has taught me so many things. If I had to share three things from what I have learned here, it would be– 

• to be consistent
• be yourself  
• If you want to start something, do it today. Never wait for a better day!

🌸 If you could visit any fictional world, which one would you choose?

This one’s easy- Prythian of ACOTAR. I loved how this world was divided based on seasons, and it’s one alluring world! I would never miss a chance to visit and live in Velaris no matter what. I’m a person who is crazy about stars, and the city of starlight sounds like heaven to me.

🌸 What is your favorite holiday tradition?

I don’t have a holiday tradition, but I would say it would be something with binge-watching K-dramas and curling up in my bed with a book and hot coffee.

🌸 What is one thing that really gets you fired up or angry?

I guess it’s when people lie to me. I hate it when people lie to me. I want them to be honest, even if it hurts.

🌸 What is your biggest pet peeve?

When people don’t listen to or pay attention in a conversation.

🌸 What are you most looking forward to in 2021?

I want 2021 to be COVID free, to read more books from the genres that I haven’t read before, to stay positive and write more.
