The Fantasy Winter Retreat Book Tag

This tag was created by Sumedha, and I was tagged by Lost In Neverland to do this wonderful tag.

I have wanderlust for so many places, and hopefully, I travel to them someday. Thanks a ton to @ Wordy Habitat and Georgia for giving me this chance to at least visit these places in my mind. 

Without any further ado, let’s begin the retreat.

The Fantasy Winter Retreat Book Tag summary

You get to go on a week-long retreat to chill and have fun after the stressful 2020 experience. Set the scene of your dream winter retreat and, using the prompts, round up the characters you’d like to vacation with!

Step One: Travel destination and accommodation

Istanbul in Turkey. I fell in love with this place after reading Istanbul by Orhan Pamuk. I’m dying to visit this place someday, but I’d choose this place for this retreat.

Step Two: Who’s Joining!?

I’m choosing characters from Fantasy Novels I’ve read. So sorry, not sorry, mortals and muggles.

A fun character who’s presence would cheer up any situation

Fred and George Weasley, they’re a team, so I can’t choose one. They are spontaneous and are natural entertainers. I could rely on them to make this retreat one filled with loads of shenanigans and excitement.

A character who would parent everyone

Jon Snow. I haven’t read A Song of Fire and Ice series yet, but from the show I could tell Jon Snow cared for his family. He would be perfect for keeping everyone in line. Well, that guy could handle a dragon; he could definitely control Fred and George. Right?

A character who would plan games and other activities

Vivi from the Folk of the Air series. She’s the gal who would spare me the headache of planning any activities or games.

A character who would rather cozy up in blankets and sleep/laze around all day

Rai from Noblesse (Webtoon). I know that Rai would be comfy with a bowl of noodles and would rather spend his time alone than with the crowd. He has missed so many awesome stuff in life, and I’d like him to have a good time with us.

A character who had to cancel other plans to be here

Cupid from Lore Olympus. We didn’t even invite him, but he was waiting for a chance to escape from taking a side with his mother and psyche’s 932156 arguments. Zeus gave him an important task, namely to keep Hera busy while he lives life to the fullest, but refused it telling him that he was on a break and was joining us, without our knowledge, for this retreat.

A character who brought their work along with them

David Kostyk from Shadow and bone Trilogy. I’ve tried so hard to get this guy to play with us, but he keeps his eyes glued to his laptop.

A character who would not leave their partner’s side

Orion from A Deadly Education. He’s inseparable from El, and she’s had enough of him. I’ve to ask Vivi to form a game or an activity to keep him apart from El.

A character who is amused by everyone’s antics

Okay, I can only think of one person for this- Marshall Seo from These Violent Delights. This guy seems amused by everything and anything, and I should ask Jon Snow to keep an eye on Seo and the Weasley twin. Gods forbid if they decide to cook up some plan together. That shouts only one thing- TROUBLE.
