Hey guys, I hope you all are doing good. I have been caught up with reading, so I didn’t want to write a tag post but then went with it anyway. I enjoyed reading Samantha and Amber’s post for this tag. You can read it here. Though I’m ahead of my reading schedule, I’ve lots of ARCs to review and posts to write. Let me know how did your week go.
Without any further ado, let’s get to the tag.
What is the Meet the Book Blogger Tag?
Thanks for Samantha and Amber @Bibliomavens for nominating me for this tag. Please check out their blog for more bookish
So The Meet the Book Blogger tag is created by Bibliomavens to answer ten questions to know about the blogger, their reading habits, favourite (or not so favourite) books, ever-growing TBR, and more! It’s just an opportunity for us as bloggers to share some different details about our bookish shelves to each other and our followers. Hope you all enjoy it! Feel free to take part even if you haven’t been tagged.
Here are the rules for this tag:
- Nominated bloggers can nominate ten other bloggers.
- Use the same questions from the tag.
- Tag the original creator and the blogger who tagged you
Their Questions
➼Who is your all-time favourite book character?
Liesel Meminger from The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. I read this book long ago, but Liesel has stayed with me for a long time. This book and the story have stayed with me till now, and I guess I’d never move on from this book.
➼If you were stranded on a desert island, which book would you take with you? (Survival books do not count)
Since I’m alone on a deserted island and no one to disturb me, I’d either read about hunting a monster in 20th century Shanghai (These Violent Delights) or read about with whales, books, and a mysterious teen author (Amelia Unabridged).
➼What’s your most unpopular book opinion?
These days, I find M/M and F/F relationships written better than heterosexual ones. Is it just me, or does anyone else feel the same?
➼What’s your weirdest bookish habit?
I love knowing about the font used in the book. I like reading about why the author has chosen that font, along with its brief history.
➼What character would you bring to a family event as your fake partner?
Jace from City of Bones. I can’t figure out this guy. He seems serious, but then he is not, and I like his sense of humor. So, I don’t have to worry about the nosy aunts or uncles because he can keep them away with his talking.
➼What made you decide to start a book blog?
So here’s a bit of backstory for this blog. Last year, I was so done with seeing the same faces and the walls around me. I keep hearing nothing but COVID everywhere, so did the world. I didn’t want to hear about covid or pandemic anymore and kept devouring books after books. I wanted to pour out my thoughts somewhere and then started this blog. The rest is history.
➼What about reading and books do you love the most?
I love stories. When I read a story, I feel alive. I believe that everyone has a story to tell and listen to these characters (sometimes people) tell me their story. I collect these stories and carry them with me and pass them to others who need them.
➼What is your field of study/desired profession/current profession?
I’d love to work in a publishing company, but it’s hard to get into one in India. Currently, I’m looking to work in the Content Writing field.
➼What are some book recommendations that became your favourites/obsessions?
I have a list of books that I can keep recommending to you all, but these are a few that I want everyone to read.
Amelia Unabridged
Six of Crows
The Wall of Winnipeg and Me by Mariana Zapata
A Darker Shade of Magic
The Kingmaker by Kennedy Ryan
Letters to the Lost by Brigid Kemmerer
➼What is the book you shove down everyone’s throat?
Legendborn. I love this book. I can’t wait to reread this book. I want the next book in this series to come out soon.
I Tag:

I want to write a Kdrama post, but it’s been two months since I watched one. I’ll see if I could come up with something by next week. I will be posting an EXO-related post for next Friday, just a heads up.
Hope you enjoyed reading this tag. Have a great weekend, and happy reading!

I loved reading your answers for this tag!
I 1000000% agree that M/M and F/F romances are better in books right now. Some of the best books I have ever read had LGBTQ+ relationships. I just finished Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo which I didn’t know was F/F going into it and it was one of the most beautiful romances I have ever read.
Jace would be so much fun at a family dinner! I don’t think my family would know what to do with him at first, but his sarcasm would quickly win my family over haha.
Loved reading your answers! – Amber

I also meant friendships and family bonds that’s why I didn’t mention M/M or F/F but yeah these days, LGBTQ+ reps are done better. Thanks for stopping by!🥰
