10 Fantasy Books I’m reading next

Hey everyone! I was supposed to review The Beautiful Ones today but my left arm is hurt and I’m unable to do any work with my left arm for now. I was still determined to write the review but thought of posting it for another day.

Today I’m listing down 10 Fantasy books that I’ll be starting soon. I have been waiting to read some of these books since last year but I thought of keeping a month or a week for it. I might not read these books in order but I’m planning to finish all of them by this year along with the others.

1. Spin the Dawn by Elizabeth Lim (The Blood of Stars #1)

Project Runway meets Mulan in this sweeping YA fantasy about a young girl who poses as a boy to compete for the role of imperial tailor and embarks on an impossible journey to sew three magic dresses, from the sun, the moon, and the stars.

Maia Tamarin dreams of becoming the greatest tailor in the land, but as a girl, the best she can hope for is to marry well. When a royal messenger summons her ailing father, once a tailor of renown, to court, Maia poses as a boy and takes his place. 2. The Poppy War by R.F. Kuang  (The Poppy War #1)

A brilliantly imaginative talent makes her exciting debut with this epic historical military fantasy, inspired by the bloody history of China’s twentieth century and filled with treachery and magic, in the tradition of Ken Liu’s Grace of Kings and N.K. Jemisin’s Inheritance Trilogy.

4. City of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty (The Daevabad Trilogy #1)

5. The Bone Witch by Rin Chupeco (The Bone Witch #1)

6. The Gilded Ones by Namina Forna (Deathless #1)

8. Winterwood by Shea Ernshaw

9. Vicious by V E Schwab (Villains #1)
