Hey Guys!
I wanted to write something different today though I had two books that need to be reviewed. It felt monotonous to write a review on a Friday evening. When I was thinking of what to post, I was wondering if I should speak about my anxiety issues or how my month was but decided to add that segment to my wrap-up post. I found this tag on the One Book More blog. It’s a short one and helped me to remind myself that there were books that I had forgotten on my TBR. In today’s tag, I’m speaking about books that I should have read a while ago but haven’t read them yet because they’re on my TBR, not just filling the void, but for a reason.
I’m not tagging anyone in particular. If you’re interested in writing it, consider yourself tagged.
Happy Friday, let the weekend begin!
➼ A Book That a Certain Friend is Always Telling You to Read

For the past few days, I’ve been seeing this book on my timeline and even watched half of the first movie because it was everywhere I turned. If I didn’t have a problem with watching movies, I’d have finished it by now. Millay @Millay’s Musings has been recommending this series ever since I started this blog, so I’m planning to read it before my 1st blogiversary.
➼ A Book That’s Been on Your TBR Forever and Yet You Still Haven’t Read It

I started this book back in 2016 and stopped it because I had to return my copy to the library. Later someone had gifted me this book, and it’s been lying on myself untouched and collecting dust since then.
➼ A Book in a Series You’ve Started, But Haven’t Gotten Around to Finishing

I don’t own any books here with these covers, but this 10th edition of the Daughter of Smoke & Bone series is my favorite, and I like seeing them on my blog, so here they are. I read the first book of this series in Feb, and it was my first novel with Seraphin’s and Chimeras. It was gritty and was set in one of my favorite places in the world- Prague. I was lost in reading other novels to the extent where I forgot to continue with this series. I have to start the next book soon and hope that I finish them by this year.
➼ A Classic You’ve Always Liked the Sound of, But Have Never Actually Read

I’ve kept this book on my TBR ever since my friend narrated the story of this book to me. Once I get my hand’s on the physical copy, I’d start reading it immediately.
➼ A Popular Book That it Seems Everyone But You Has Read

When I was new to blogging, it seemed like many had read this book. It was there on Twitter, Blogs, and Booksta. Though my first book by CM wasn’t up to the hype, I’m willing to give this book a chance and see how it is.
➼ A Book That Inspired a Film/TV Adaptation That You Really Love, But Just Haven’t Picked Up Yet

I enjoyed watching this movie. There was something about the way how survival was explored here that made me like this movie, and I was rooting for Mark Watney to find his way back home alive. I’ve wanted to read the book since then and it’s still on my TBR.
➼ A Book You See All Over Instagram But Haven’t Picked Up Yet

Another book that not only has a beautiful cover but seems to have attracted many readers through its story. I’ve seen this book surfacing on my IG timeline for a while (back when I was active there) and added it to my TBR. It sounds dark and mysterious, something that I might enjoy reading.

I haven’t read red white and royal blue either, so you’re not alone 😂. And I also haven’t read daughter of smoke and bone, but I do plan it. I’ve read fellowship of the ring though and I didn’t really like it much 😐. Cool post!!

Haha! Happy to know that I have someone who hasn’t read RWRB. Oh, I’m sorry you didn’t like FotR much, but I hope you get to read Daughter of Smoke and Bone and enjoy it.

I still need to read House of Hollow as well, I’ve heard so many good things about it and the cover is so pretty (I can understand why it’s all over Instagram)

I feel the same about The Count of Monte Cristo. It’s been on my TBR for years ever since a friend recommended it to me!
